The EFMC14 conference is held in Athens (Greece) from 13.09.2022 to 16.09.2022. A talk titled “Large-scale motions in a baffled von Kármán tank” is going to be delivered during this event. We have managed to get the very first velocity field measurements through PIV. We are looking forward to the coming measurement campaigns.

The construction of the new von Kármán experimental rig was finalised today. Now we are heading towards validation and calibration of the facility.

A scientific seminar is organised today by the Institute of Aeronautics and Applied Mechanics of Warsaw University of Technology (IAAM WUT). A talk titled “Investigating the structure of the velocity field in a baffled turbulent Von Kármán flow” is going to be delivered during this event. It will focus on the assumptions and goals of the POLS project.
